CheckConnection(TimeSpan?)
Probes the configured Address with a lightweight HTTP request and
reports whether the endpoint is reachable, which wire transport this connection
uses and whether the route goes through a proxy. The probe uses the same handler
configuration as the real channel (SDK-scoped proxy, configureHandler hook),
so it reflects the route the connection actually takes. This is a transport-level
check only — it does not validate authentication or that individual gRPC services
are mapped on the endpoint (use a real RPC such as Discovery.ListProvider()
for a service-level check).
