Interface IZedalConnection

Namespace
Zedal.Sdk
Assembly
Zedal.Sdk.dll

Represents the transport-level connection details for gRPC communication.

public interface IZedalConnection

Properties

Address

Gets the configured server address.

CallInvoker

Gets the call invoker used by API stubs.

Channel

Gets the long-lived gRPC channel.

Transport

Gets the wire transport this connection uses.

Methods

CheckConnection(TimeSpan?)

Probes the configured Address with a lightweight HTTP request and reports whether the endpoint is reachable, which wire transport this connection uses and whether the route goes through a proxy. The probe uses the same handler configuration as the real channel (SDK-scoped proxy, configureHandler hook), so it reflects the route the connection actually takes. This is a transport-level check only — it does not validate authentication or that individual gRPC services are mapped on the endpoint (use a real RPC such as Discovery.ListProvider() for a service-level check).

CreateTransientChannel()

Creates a short-lived channel that uses the same address and transport as this connection, but without the JWT call credentials. Used for token-refresh calls that must not attach the current (possibly expired) access token. The caller owns the returned channel and is responsible for disposing it.

SetJwtTokenProvider(Func<Task<string>>)

Sets the JWT provider callback used for Authorization metadata.
