Wire transport used for gRPC communication with ZEDAL.

public enum ZedalTransport
Extension Methods

Fields

Auto = 3

Probe HTTP/2 against the native backend once when the connection is created: if HTTP/2 is available, use Grpc (api.<env>). Fall back to GrpcWeb (openapi.<env>) only on positive evidence — the backend answered, but HTTP/1.x-only — and only for target-system addresses (explicit addresses have no gateway and stay on Grpc). If the probe gets no response at all (offline, timeout), the connection stays on Grpc — a missing network is no proof that HTTP/2 is blocked. The resolved Transport is never Auto. Note: selecting this performs a blocking network probe during connection construction.

Grpc = 1

Native gRPC over HTTP/2 against api.<env>.zedal.de.

GrpcWeb = 2

gRPC-Web tunneled over HTTP/1.1 against the OpenAPI gateway (openapi.<env>.zedal.de). Use this in HTTP/2-restricted environments (legacy corporate proxies, .NET Framework, …).

Unknown = 0

Unspecified / uninitialized sentinel. Not a usable transport — callers pass an explicit value (Auto is the default across the SDK's APIs).
